Qualifying Education for Application for Certification

Qualifying Degrees for CVRP Certification

Below is a list of Qualifying Degree Programs from each Province in Canada. Although some of the degree programs listed may not have all the related vocational and rehabilitation components, an applicant holding one of these degrees will be reviewed for acceptance to write the CVRP certification examination. An applicant is required to submit documentation for the minimum of 800 hours practicum and /or VR work experience. If deemed acceptable by the Registrar and if the applicant successfully achieves the passing mark of 70%, they will be eligible for the CVRP credential once registration fees are received and all application documents are in order.

It is recommended that all examination candidates use the CVRP study guide to ensure that their knowledge base is inclusive of the required domains of learning to ensure successful completion of the CVRP entrance examination. The PDF version of the CVRP Study Guide can be purchased with the application form. A newly edited printed format of the CVRP Study guide will be available in the fall of 2016.
